DACR is recognized as and continues to be a leader in the field of court reporting. DACR graduates must have well-rounded academic backgrounds and technical skills. To fulfill this mission, Denver Academy of Court Reporting believes in being proactive in the area of technology and educational methods, with everyone working together toward the same goal and accomplishing this goal in the most expeditious manner.

Specifically, our objectives are:

• To assist court reporting students in developing machine shorthand skills to an entry-level proficiency of 225 words per minute at 95% accuracy utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
  
• To instill in all students the business and professional ethics that are essential to success.
       
• To provide each student with the opportunity to study the academic and general education courses pertinent to the profession.
